This year we will celebrate our 9th spring together !

After the success of the 2017 edition, we are more determined than ever to prepare an unusual, eclectic and stimulating festival, all in a relaxed atmosphere.

For that, Chromatic Festival takes place in an emblematic place : the old École des beaux-arts of Montreal, in the heart of the city. The four components - Expo, Nuit, Pro, Kids - will take place in this unique spot for a concentrate of diverse experiences linked by the same common point: Art.

It is our pleasure to announce the first exhibiting artist filmmaker Andrew Thomas Huang who will showcase his film "Flesh Nest" in a solo exhibition within Festival Chromatic making his debut in Montreal. Los Angeles based, Huang’s film and video work has exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art, NYC; MoMA PS1, The Barbican Center in London among other prestigious institutions.

As an experimental filmmaker whose work bridges the gap between video art and film, he has developed a strong reputation for his collaborative practice, having worked extensively with Icelandic artist Bjork, and others including Thom Yorke and Sigur Ros.
