program

The exportation of artists from Quebec internationally is certainly nothing new, but we’ve noticed that the trend has greatly accelerated over the last decade, namely with the support of governmental institutions. The new partnerships created by the governments of Quebec and Canada with Asia are good examples of this, as are the exportation of works produced by the Quartier des Spectacles in the context of its events.
-
Two art organizations, CREOS and the Art Mûr Gallery, will discuss the new organizational, artistic and social implications of such global marketing. The CALQ will also present their plan to help artists from Quebec shine on the international stage, thus bringing forth the support and assistance offered by the governments and accessible to all those wanting to take on the challenge of artistic exportation.
