about

TOP RANK is a print publication, podcast network, and experiential series that celebrates women of diverse backgrounds who are driving, shaping, and challenging the world around them. Top Rank women are leaders in the arts, academia, social justice, technology, and fashion worlds.

The Top Rank podcast is a process-oriented research platform, grounded in conversation. Working in collaboration with our listeners, we hope to create a flexible knowledge-production outlet that is exploratory rather than prescriptive or conclusive.
During the 2018 edition of Chromatic festival, Top Rank will curate an exhibition and live conversation in Salon Chromatic featuring the series If Nostalgia Were Colored Brown by Nakeya Brown on June 1st from 3-5pm.

Along with our local collaborators, Nènè Myriam Konaté and Keesha Chung of CC:MTL (Creative Culture Montreal),  we will use the installation as a means to engage in exploratory and essential dialogue about black female identity in Montreal. We will facilitate an inter-generational and multi-disciplinary conversation while referencing cultural production that mirrors our identities.
