The Society for the Celebrations of Montréal’s 375th Anniversary is a non-profit organization whose mission is to organize the festivities and socioeconomic initiatives that will mark Montréal’s 375th birthday in 2017. With a focus on promoting Montreal expertise, it acts as a catalyst for initiatives that come together to fulfill its mandate: to mobilize the community, implement a funding strategy, manage financial resources wisely, develop an exceptional program of events and promote the festivities.

Showcased by Chromatic, this project is undertaken in partnership with Montreal’s Sud-Ouest borough. In keeping with Michel Gondry’s humanistic vision, Chromatic seeks to revitalise the neighbourhood with this unique project. To make it accessible, every session is free and open to all for a month and a half. Each session brings together fifteen people and promises moments where all participants have a role to play. Accompanied by a volunteer mediator, groups are supervised to both encourage participation and bring about a successful project.
